Jeff Poole is the drummer for the rock band Legs Diamond, a Los Angeles-based hard rock band that formed in 1975. Songs from their 1977 album A Diamond is a Hard Rock were a favorite of San Antonio radio DJ Joe Anthony and received consistent radio airplay. By April 1977 the band played San Antonio for a concert at the Municipal Auditorium where they opened for Bob Seger. By November of that same year the band was the touring headliner. Of particular note is the song "Woman," the fourth track off of A Diamond and a San Antonio fan favorite. This oral history interview was conducted by Gregory Peek as part of The Joe Anthony Project.
